You may find some oats at the Player/AI bases as well, make sure to check in the garden. Oats are typically found at the Bandit stash, at the Canyon Trials, and from bounties/bets. The only way for the horse to regain energy is to feed it oats, so oats are effectively an additional form of energy which you can save up. You can also ride the horse using the horses energy instead of yours. You will still be able to walk and use energy in the same way you did before. You get 4 storage slots on the horse, and the horse will be waiting for you at the edge of whatever map you are currently on. Your horse will be with you at all times, whether you walk off the map, or "Ride" the horse from the horse menu. The last stable item is annoying to get because you are more likely to get a stable part you don't need than the last one you do need. You can do bounties to build up to 240 silver pretty easily, then keep the silver for the last item you're missing. You can also purchase each stable item in town at the trader for 240 silver (wait until you've got a VIP day to get the discount, you get those free every 7 days). Town - You can trade 1 of every other stable part for the part you need in town.If you're away from your base and offline the attack will commence without you and you will miss getting the map and your stable part. If the bandits will arrive while you're offline leave yourself at your base and the attack will commence whenever you're next online. The bandit stash also shows up randomly, don't miss out when you see it on the map. When you get attacked use your best weapons so you don't let any escape. It's critical that you kill all bandits to get the map, and bandits will give up and run away if you're too slow. The stash is guarded by only one wimpy watchman (go naked and kill him with bare fists to carry the max loot). Bandit stash - this one is important, every time you anger the bandits (this is a good thing), if you manage to kill all 4-5 bandits that attack you, you'll get a map to their stash. But lower level players shouldn't skip the shootout spot because of the stable parts, they are rare items. At the shootout you will be attacked randomly quite often so speed is key if you're taking a beating or don't want to waste your weapons/armor. If the shootout is hard at your level then run around as fast as possible to find the dead horse, where the stable part is, while avoiding standing bandits. The event is available at most once per day and shows up after your energy is <50%, this is far better than the train event for stable parts, if you skip the train events you'll be more likely to get a shootout event soon after.
